Steering box - old or new?

Does anyone know if this is the old or new steering box?

Kind of hard to see in that pic, but I think that is the old one. The new one is black. You can get a better pic lifting the inner fender of the driver side wheel.

The old box is aluminum and looks like aluminum. The new box is steel but is painted with gloss black.
