I loose about 1 quart in 4000 miles. It's more when i do need it, gas stations don't have the diesel oil I need.Does the JTRD burn oil?
I've only had one diesel in the past and the only vehicle that I've carried spare oil was my 82 Camaro that leaked so much I rarely changed the oil. It changed itself.
I do burn a little, a quart in an oil change. It's more the places we go don't carry diesel oil. This where the the Gladiator had beenDoes the JTRD burn oil?

Part of the reason I opted to run a 31 gallon fuel cell. Mine doesn’t seem to burn any oil though. I get about 8 1/4 quarts out every changeI loose about 1 quart in 4000 miles. It's more when i do need it, gas stations don't have the diesel oil I need.

I had them at stock height for months. They worked great. No issues whatsoever.Has anyone ran RSE on stock height? A close friend thought it might sit so low that it wouldn't be as useful. I do plan on lifting it at some point, but not in a rush. I'm planning on driving it for awhile as is.
They would work fine on stock hight. It does not drop below the frame. The step drops 6 inches below the frame, 8 inches below the rse frame.Has anyone ran RSE on stock height? They actually drop 12” down. I can confirm as someone that has them, but it’s also confirmed on the RSE site. They would work fine on stock hight. It does not drop below the frame. The step drops 6 inches below the frame, 8 inches below the rse frame.
,
silly question, but would it be 12 inches from the OEM rockslides or 12 inches from where they mount to the frame? They actually drop 12” down. I can confirm as someone that has them, but it’s also confirmed on the RSE site.

The 12" is from the step. I just went out and measured. The top of rse step is higher than the stock rockslider. It would be better with the lift. I took a straight edge from the bottom of the frame which is a couple of inches below the frame of the step. They actually drop 12” down. I did not explain myself in the last post. Here are some pictures to explain it. You can see how close to the door lip the top step is. These things are greatsilly question, but would it be 12 inches from the OEM rockslides or 12 inches from where they mount to the frame?
You beat me to it. Exactly. The 12" is from the step. I just went out and measured. The top of rse step is higher than the stock rockslider. It would be better with the lift. I took a straight edge from the bottom of the frame which is a couple of inches below the frame of the step.
I just bought mine too! Northridge 4x4 had a 10% off coupon and free shipping. Hadn’t shipped yet.Ok...RSE took my money. 4 boxes total. Gave the UPS driver a water and a Gatorade.
Install in a couple weeks/weekends. My knees are already saying "Thank you."
