@en2dirt - yes, these are the rugged ridge fortis doors. i like the look of them more than other less expensive alternatives. after install and couple of miles of break in, they do rattle a bit. i will probably do what i did with my JKU and the bestop tube doors which is to add electrical tape around the door latch. they do use your current door hinge nut, but i do wish they had a lock as well. yeah, one could just reach in and grab anything from the inside, my concern is having someone undo the hinge nuts in a couple of minutes and walk away with the doors.
i did find some tube doors with locks like the Warn, but there are none in stock.

plus, rugged ridge has 150 rebate till end of the month for 4 doors. and the front doors are discounted by a supplier that starts with the letter Q.
Thanks for this info, I've been looking at them. I might just pick up the fronts for now, then swing back for the rears down the road; it's actually cheaper to buy the fronts and rears separately (from the retailer mentioned above) and get the $100 rebate than it is to buy the set and get the $150 rebate.

@sbach66 - yes. i bought the front and rear doors under separate line items but then combined them for the rebate. i just received noticed that the $150 rebate has been confirmed.

If you can wait till black friday you might be able to get 30% off, I got both front, rear and the covers for around 700. I think it was a glitch on their website though, I'm not sure.

If your door rattles, they sent you the wrong bumpers. I called them and they sent me adjustable ones. The doors should not be rattling from the door locks? The bumpers should solve any rattling issues. You probably didnt align the doors correctly if you have issues at the locks.

How do you like the Rough Country seat covers?
Also, any loss of front end height with the Venator bumper and winch?

Covers are great, they fit well. As far as losing any height, i havent measured or noticed but im sure the weight of the winch has lowered it a bit. As far as the weight of the bumper, its not that heavy. Thats why i went with that bumper because i knew the weight of the winch would be considerable on its own. I dont plan on doing any rock crawling, i would have bought a wrangler if i wanted to rock crawl.

Brian,
Your Mojave is nearly identical to my Rubicon and we have gone to Isabella every year since the 60's. Haven't been there for boating in the last couple years because the lake has been so low but we will again asap.

Nice to see my semi-twin Gladiator in an area it'll be in very soon. Thanks for posting the picture.

"Dan in Pasadena" is my old name. I still use it because I don't want to change it but I'm really Dan in Glendora as of April 1st in 2020. Nevertheless I'm sure you're right. We'll run into each other sooner or later. Mine's Sting Gray, Also with colored flares and roof just like yours. There can't be THAT many of us that look like that around here!

Cherry poppin' post inbound!

Bought this Saturday 2021 Sport 6spd after negotiating with the dealer off and on for a couple weeks. Used 2021 with 6700mi, traded by 2015 JK Sport 6spd.
Quick and easy changes first...had to get rid of those nasty grey (bluish really) factory stripes. May add the orange set in the future.

I am a base guy, I'd rather build up from here. (StichGrau or ProjectCheepJeep2, duck on!)
