Same, Michelin LTX AT II (E-range) were terrific on my overloaded Tacoma and held up very well on sharp Death Valley rocks. But doubt it's an E-range that comes stock on the JL...

Theyre not . They are 245/75/17 112S im pretty sure.

im eyeballing a set of michellin defender LTX in 255/75/17 115T for me at some point. And probably a set if 245s or 255s of the same brand for the wifes JLU before next winter. The wranglers that came on her jl are abismal in pretty much all weather

You guys are lucky you didn't have to use them in the snow.

I wonder if it depends on our definition of “snow” where i Live in DE we get maybe a handful of snow storms every year and don’t usually see more than a couple inches. In 4hi pretty much any tire can work through our roads most storms. So for me “driving in snow” isnt a huge concern. My dueler ATs did FANTASTIC this year in the snow, both hard and soft packed. And a lot of guys say the duelers stink.

I'm in SE Michigan and we get a little snow, but not a ton. About 3' per year, usually 1-3 decent storms of 10" or more.

One of the vehicles I had Michelin LTX MS on was a 2002 Grand Cherokee with Quadra-Drive. That Jeep was awesome on snowy roads with anything but those Michelin tires.
