The black cover fell off of my stock 17” wheels. This is a perfect reason to get different wheels.

What do I need to account for when looking at wheels? (I get the basic concept that I need 5x5 bolt pattern and 17” to keep the tires. I’m thinking offset and width.) Specific wheel set recommendations are welcome too!

2020 Sport with the 17 x 7.5 wheels. I have a 3ish inch lift with 35x12.5x17 MT Baja Boss tires. I plan to keep the tires.

Look for ease of cleaning, consider wether you want negative offset or stock look . Wider rims if your considering large tires such as 12.50or 13.50" steel wheels are a crap shoot for trueness and aluminum cast are okay but the best are CNC aluminum rims. Cost of course plays a part. If your not a heavy off road-er a true beadlock isnt needed a simulated beadlock will be fine. Even guy who do alot of trails use simulated beadlock. Color can also play a factor as scratching will occur your going to want something you can repaint or touch up that a color can be matched. Akot of guys choose black for this reason.

I didn't even realize that's a separate piece. Assuming it's only on the sport wheels?

What I cant figure out from that picture is why those rims look soooo old.

Facebook Marketplace has plenty of stock Sport S trim Alloy 17” wheels, that’s gives you a decent light weight choice for a low budget. With perfect offset, when you use the 255/75-17 sized AT tires. That’s what my 2024 Sport S came with that happens to match the Granite Chrystal Metallic, I like the way it looks.
