Stolen gladiator came back with this wire hanging

Im new to the forum , 2 weeks ago my jeep got stolen..I found it in a tow yard and when I was checking it I saw this wire hanging!
I try to see where I could plug it in but no luck for me.
Does anyone knows where it should be connected? Does this wire make the touch screen works?
I’m asking because the touch screen is not working.

Yeah, if it was stolen, the thief likely found that and recognized it as a dealer-sold theft tracking device and unplugged the device from the pigtail.

I have several of these now, if anyone wants one!

It's a pre-installed upsell for a theft recovery service. Several long threads on it. If you had the device it would have the company name. Look it up and see the theft prevention or recovery services they sell through dealers or just through their own web site.

google the part number on that sticker, pretty simple. Just like everyone else has said, more than likely it is a dealer installed tracker
