Honestly, facts and experience are anger, conjecture and resentment. wow,
ride on cowboy!
I have 3 months waiting and a down payment invested. Honestly all I want is the plan and eventually the truck. Thats all they had to provide.

I mean, the alternative here is that they deliver your Jeep with the bad fuel pump and you end up stuck with even fewer options when it goes bad. Count your blessings that you're not like the guys with failures that are now stuck waiting on service with zero options.

I think that since they held it up from being delivered to you that you're actually in a better position, because now you have the option to cancel your order and take your money elsewhere.

You do realize that every 3.0 eco diesel built so far in all wranglers, gladiators and half ton pickups have the CP4 pump in them right? This is not just a handful of trucks.

I ordered a Diesel Gladiator 1-2-23 that was built ready to ship since Feb 21st. Wednesday this week i was told FCA is issuing a full stop sale notice.. wth?.. PS Diesels are NOT built with manuals, they have the 8HP75 heavy-duty auto transmission.
Looks like a lot of folks don't understand what PS means.
and The Eco diesel was never made available in a manual transmission as you stated!

Yes sir. I think people either forgot how to read.. Or they are too quick to inject their own 2 cents they glaze over. So to add to the saga.. Still haven't taken possession and FCA points at the dealership for giving me an answer.. and the dealership points back to FCA. Im more apt to believe the dealer as FCA does NOT want to self incriminate. For those that tell me this was the DOT directing this... is full of horse pucky.. FCA knew the Bosch CP4 was a failure with US fuels years ago with the same eco diesel in their Ram. I was just hoping they fixed this issies BEFORE my build and shipping.... NOPE... ?‍♂?‍♂?‍♂

I ordered mine in march and it is supposedly built and sitting in storage. I cant believe that there is not public outrage over this. The issue in with every single eco diesel built thus far. They have had ample time to fix it and didn't until the recall went to the federal level as a safety issue. Now they are scrambling trying to fix it. I didnt drink the JEEP water. FCC is lying to customers. We cant be the only 2 people in here pissed. My dealer has 15-20 more hung up in the same deal.

You aren't the only two pissed. But most are focusing on solutions while recognizing the bad spot everyone is in. Those most affected, and scrambling the most, are those who already have their trucks and are rightfully worried about a failure. Those awaiting delivery aren't remotely in the same risk category.

Adding to all that, what exactly is "FCC" (I'm assuming you mean FCA?) lying about? It sounds like they're being factual and making sure their statements are not inaccurate, if not a little guarded for obvious reasons. Maybe they're not giving as much information as you'd like, but if they give out unverified info and it turns out not to be accurate, then they're lying aren't they?

And to your point on the scarcity of the fix, shouldn't those who already took delivery take priority in the repair over you? They're in a much worse position. Sounds like you're advocating for that. It might take longer to get your truck, but you have options that others who already took delivery don't have anymore.

I mean honestly, everything you mention tells me you should go buy something else. I love my Jeep and still I support you going elsewhere. I'm wondering why that's not an option for you, especially considering the tight spot you're in without having a vehicle.

Heck, you could even go and buy an EcoD from someone else if you are that dead set on owning one right now, right? And even if you did get your hands on one, you'd still need to get it fixed, right? But at least you'd have it. Would that not be an option?

If you ever get the updated pump, then you can wait for the main bearings to fail, another problem with the 3.0 diesel. I love my Cummins Ram but chose the Mojave gladiator.

Thank you. Still waiting.. I've been on the phone several times with dealer & FCA care, rebates wanting a CDI# to hold all incentives until its able to be sold..and they all sing and dance and have useless information. Jeep was delivered finally to the dealer to sit there 2 weeks ago 5-22-23. Took pictures with it, sat in it.. the saga continues. I've Heard August 5000 units will be released for repair ansld 2500 each month after that....

I'm right there with you. Ordered Jan 27th and mine arrived at the dealer on May 2nd....just about a week after the stop sale went into effect. Literally could've picked it up if it arrived 7-10 days earlier. It's been sitting on the lot now for 3 months and all i have are some pictures. (ordered out of state for a better deal) Obviously im not happy about not having it either but i'm more upset that my dealer sent me an email a couple of days before it arrived (after the stop sale went into effect) telling me to get funding ready, so i followed their suggestion and got everything ready. Now i'm taking an (albeit minor) hit to my credit because i did a hard pull to be ready to buy, and that obviously didn't happen within the timeframe needed. Again not the biggest deal but the communication is just horrendous and frustrating.
