Either I'm getting old, or I'm just not good at using the search function as I didn't see any other threads discussing this.

I've now spoken to two different dealerships in the past 24hrs, one in California, and one in Missouri, trying to start the buying process of a manual sport gladiator they've had on their lot(s).

Both times I was told that they cannot sell any of their manual gladiators, per FCA, until the clutch issue is resolved. Both indicated they don't have an ETA but were told "soon" there while be a fix.

I'm waiting to hear back from another "local" dealer that has a beautiful 2021 Gladiator Willys, 6 speed, to see if they can still sell used gladiators, off the top sale is only on new models.

Stop sale orders are a real pain in the @$$ not only for consumers but dealerships as well.

A local dealer near me has two Wrangler Rubicon FarOut models and I was set to buy one and the GM said we can't deliver it to you. Of course, I could pay for it, but it would have to stay there until the HPFP issue gets resolved.

Stop Sale has been around since February i believe? Searching these forums isn't easy, but it is well known about in these parts. As far as used sales, i believe CDJR dealers are "advised against" selling units subject to the same recalls that cause stop sales on new units, but not beholden to it. In mnfr-dealer speak, that means CDJR has covered it's ass legally while still allowing the dealers to do whatever the f they want.

in future, if you want to search the forums just go to google or bing and type jeepgladiatorforums.com and then your search term. It'll be easier to find results than with the forum's built in search.

Got mine through Carvana. I assume that once they’re in the wild, stop sales don’t take.

So much easier than dealer. No haggling, but who needs it when they’re not charging $2000 paperwork fees.
