I am not looking to debate whether or not to leave it on year round or not.
For those of you who do remove it and put the hardtops back on for the winter, how do you store the Sunrider?

Thanks for the input.

I just remove it, assembled and folded back. I set it in a clean spot in the crawl space under the house. Currently on top of a rocket box. It looks perfect in the spring.

I store mine on the wall in my garage. It hangs open on two rubberized hooks in the wall spaced just right so I can use the cross bar in the roof to hang it on. I make sure that it hangs in such a way that the hooks aren't touching the underside of the canvas so I don't get "hanger shoulders".

"Hangar shoulders"...those bumps you get on the shoulders of your sweaters when you hang them in the closet, that stick up when you put your sweater on  :LOL:

...yup, assembled and sitting in the basement on a blanket and covered with another one. I'll brush it and spray it with 303 fabric protector in the Spring, and voila, good as new and ready for another year.

I store it in the garage fully assembled. That Z-Clip was a pain to thread it in when I assembled it so I don't want that pain again. I would buy a plastic mattress cover (one used for disposing old mattresses for garbage pick up) and cover it to prevent dust.
When it is time to add it on to the Jeep again, all you need to do is to place it assembled and fasten the 6 bolts.

I love mine. Really fun.
Met up with a fella last week to buy his tonneau cover. I mentioned seeing his other ad for an already sold sunrider. He told me it was his favorite part of having the Jeep. I was on the lookout for a soft top, but the sunrider makes more sense to me. When spring comes around, if I dont have a second hand one, Ill probably just buy one new.

I don't have the sunrider, but I do have the full soft top for the wife's JL. I just hang it with cargo straps from the rafters in the winter, same straps I use to hang the hard top all summer.

Keep your eyes out for sales. They are pricey. I went with the Twill.
