Hi all, I've been trying to find a storage bag for my sunrider as I'm about to take it off for the winter. Not finding anything. What do you all use to store these? I'm in a small apartment so thinking something that I can slide under a bed... any ideas?

I use a contractors trash bag. They are huge a nd heavy duty. I do beleive you have to put one one from each end and overlap them, the duct tape them together.

Thanks, good idea. I actually just ordered a twin mattress zipper storage bag made from tarp material. Hoping that will do the trick. If not, I do have a box of contractors bags.... Can't believe no one makes a storage bag for these. They make them for everything else!

I use pallet wrap, got it at the hardware store. Wrapped it all up and put it up in the garage.

Exactly what I do. The first winter i swapped the Freedom Panels back on for a while and found that they’d were no warmer and no quieter than the Sunrider. I store the panels in the attic.

I briefly chatted with a rep at Bestop last year about this. Well not about a storage situation, but about winter removal suggestions.

So I too remove mine for the winter (although I'm probably going to wait at least another month before doing so). We don't have the worst winters here in KY but we get our fair share of snow and ice for sure. The thing is if anyone could get away with NOT removing it, I probably could being that 1. it's not my daily driver due to my profession and 2. It's garage kept when I'm not driving. So it's never consistently out in the elements unless I'm driving it.

But the rep I spoke with said it "generally" isn't necessary to remove it during the winter. Bestop is out of Colorado which generally have a lot harsher winters than in Kentucky where I am, and he said most all their staff doesn't remove theirs. (In hindsight, if I worked for them I probably wouldn't be too worried about removing it either being I could most likely get one for free or at least a super discounted rate). Regardless, he said they are meant to hold up better than people often think.

In any case, I still do remove mine anyways, simply for the effect of prolonging the life of it as much as I can and to keep out as much cold air as possible (although there may not be much difference to that if at all). But it would be nice to have something to store it in. In the past winter last year, I've just had it sitting on my tool chest awkwardly. I may try the trash bag thing mentioned above this year.

Not sure if it would fit or not, I have a huge artificial Xmas tree bag for my tree. This holds the tree as well as several large xmas extras. Made of durable material and zipper closure.
Just an idea you may try as I don't have a sunrider (yet).
