Awesome of you to put up a video so quickly!

As for holding down the bottom of the window more securely, I believe there are at least two threaded holes on the back ledge where you have your velcro strip. What about a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum that would sandwich the bottom of the window when you bolted it in? Obviously you'd have to add two holes into the velcro section of the window. Just brainstorming.

I think the top looks very nice, even folded up it's not nearly as bad as the factory top. Hopefully it's durable and keeps rain out. It's also nice that it can off fairly easy.

Yeah I have a little time to play with it if I get the right Velcro I was gonna see how that works to start…, I took it off after making the video took about 3 mins to roll up and take back window off tops

Here’s some pics from my install, made it to work no issues, the install I had some issues though will most some pics later
I like it. For a summer top, it seems perfect. When it's starts snowing, you can just put your hard top back on. This looks like a good option for those of us who just have the factory hardtop. If you already have a soft top, you probably won't be gaining anything.

Thanks for sharing and getting us pics and a vid, really appreciate it. Any way you can get us a pic of it head on? It doesn't look quite as bad as I imagined.

Exactly I love to run topless but want to have everything to enclose on the fly if needed

Thanks man. Again, not nearly as intrusive (extrusive?) as I thought. The company would do good to get some vids on their site for operation and how long it takes to open/close.

Keep 'em coming. I am very interested in this as well. Curious if the hardtop can be put back on without having to remove every piece of hardware that was installed for the suntop?

So the back of the top with the two straps attached, is buckled to the lower portion of the back window and the velcro holding the back window down against the body is supposed to support the tightening of the straps?

I'm planning to make a video review later tonight to share. Have just been busy with kids this week.

You really cannot install the hard top without removing everything. About the only thing that can remain is the velcro on the back wall.

There is a plastic rib that slides up under the formed rail of the back wall of the tub, just like most Jeep tops (at least all the old Jeeps I've had used them). But that rib and rail interface is not really all that sturdy, so the velcro reinforces it. It seems to hold, but you don't put much pressure on it or it will pull out. I honestly think there are ways to improve the top dramatically in this area, but will share more about that when I make my video.

I got most of mine installed today. I was able to get that back bolt in on the boomerang on both sides by starting with it. I used the bump up portion facing up and it went right in. I also was able to squeeze it right in between the trim but I think I got lucky and just hit the right angle on my first shot. I did have a ton of trouble getting the front bottom one in though. I spent way to long on it and then just used one of my stock hardtop bolts which were a bit longer and was able to get it bolted down. I was out to long in the direct sun today so I decided to finish the back window another day. I will rarely run with one on so it's not a big deal.
Here’s the video wouldn’t let me upload on here

I got home last night and unrolled the top and sinched it down using safari buckles… my first thought is that maybe these plastic lips are too long? If they would go all the way in and were against the metal maybe they would be less prone to pull out with tension on them? Just a thought I had wanted to see yalls thought

That is a good thought. I remember a YJ top I had that seemed to have a similar issue. I cut it down with some improvement. ??‍♂
