Swing out cases AND bed extender? Doable

I was curious if I could still run the bed extender with the two swing out cases and happy to say it works and is secure: you cannot use the extender mounts but the rack slides in nicely with the side mounts for the swing out cases and the straps can be secured in the trail rail system. some pics attached and the extender cannot be pulled out either way but rattles a little so I'll add some rubber foam to the bottom.

I have one of the old AMP adjustable/universal ones that’s probably 10 years old with more of a flat shape less triangle. I used it as a camping chair for 2 at the beach all the time, and as a saw horse and it has been floating around my yard for a couple years. I just took it out and found the mounts still line up with the gladiator ones. All the hardware still worked and it was able adjust it to fit my new truck. I would defiantly buy one again.
