Bed extender

I took these pics...they were on one of the display vehicles at Easter Jeep safari. Not one of the concepts, just a Rubicon JT. I looked high and low for signs that this was just a cobbled up quickie for the show but it looked brand new and fit perfectly. I would assume it will be on the market soon.

I wonder if it's an extender for a different midsize truck. Tacomas, Colorados, Frontiers, etc. all carry a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat, so they probably all have similar dimensions between their bedsides. How hard would it be to adapt the mounting hardware to a Gladiator?

I filled out a contact form with AMP. Got a reply a few days later (last week) that said no offering right now for Gladiator and to check back in 90 days.

It’s be sweet if someone made a bed extender like the one in the F150 that splits into two pieces and folds out of the way when not in use.

In the unlikely event that they don't make a bed extender for the Gladiator, there's plenty of universal ones.

I like this idea as it seems to give you the ability to remove it easily, doesn't interfere with the trail management system, or bed cover.

I emailed AMP Research and they said "We are in the process of developing an extender for the Gladiator vehicles. We expect to have this item released in about two months or less."
I'll take it!

the pictures show it on a JT with the trail rail and it looks like it does interfere with that all all.. Also looks low enough that it wound mess of the hard tri fold tonnou cover. Cant wait to see more pictures as it gets released!

When I spoke to AMP they said that they should be coming in this month and will be delivered to the first come first serve folks. They started taking pre orders early last month as far as I know.
I didn't order one yet because they only have the "V SHAPE" one and I wasn't too excited about it. Ill wait to see what others think once they get theirs.
