Really haven’t had too many issues with this Jeep other than the def tank freezing once, rough transmission shifting when cold and what appears to be a crank shaft seal leak. Finally though after 90,000 miles it looks like I might need a new intake manifold. I haven’t noticed any performance dips with the light on though. This just happened while I was towing the boat home from the lake. Made an appointment at the dealer for Tuesday and thankfully it’s still under warranty, so we’ll see what they have to say.

Oh no! Hopefully they'll take care of it. Yours hasn't "lost any weight" or anything, right?

I ran my Ram with no swirl valves from 85k to 445k and never once missed them.

Had EOC turn it off in the tune, busted them out when I pulled the intake around 250k for the turbo coolant line, otherwise, never messed with them.

I wonder how much difference there is between the two. Ram vs gladiator as far as tuning. Same engine different tuning?

I ran with a malfunctioning swirl valve for about 25,000 miles and had no problems. It took that long to get a new manifold. @JeepCares finally stepped in and tracked one down for me. I hope you get lucky and have one in your area.

Well so far the dealer texted me to say they haven’t found any issues with the intake manifold. They are putting dye in my oil to try and track down an oil leak that I think is coming from the crank shaft seal.

There has been no weight loss on this jeep yet as it’s still under warranty.

Well started my truck up to go home and what do you know the check engine light popped up again. So off to the dealer she goes again. We will see what they say this time.
