Hey everyone,
Long shot here, but does anyone run the Synergy Track Bar Relo Bracket for the Drag Link flip? I just installed it on my 3" lift (also directly from Synergy) in conjunction with all Synergy front end components.
My question is this, if you have this kit what sway bar end links are you running and what does the angle of your sway bar look like at ride height? The kit raises the end link mounting location by roughly 2.5" and using their end links in the fully collapsed length of 9" gives me a 11.5" total end link length. This puts my sway bar at a very steep angle and risks hitting my Fox 2.5 Elite reservoir hose on compression. I just reinstalled my OEM links and the sway bar looks much better and is sitting at roughly a 9 degree angle now. I was under the impression that 5-15 degrees rise was a good starting point for the sway bar to sit at ride height, then again testing it at full droop to make sure the links don't "invert" or rotate backwards on themselves.
Yes I've reached out to Synergy and yes they are going to get back with me, but in the meantime I wanted to know if there are any real world users out there? I've been informed that all the components I have should play together but something just doesn't look and feel right with the new mounting tabs + longer links.
Finally, I understand this could be a "me" problem given the fact that the reservoir hoses were probably not part of the Synergy design plan. These hoses do seem to be getting in the way in terms of both my Nemesis inner fender liners and now the sway bar. A little trimming on the liners solved that issue but this one seems a touch more complex.
All pics below are at ride height...
Before = Synergy links in full collapsed length (big angle on sway bar and close to hose)
After = OEM links and 9 degrees up swing on sway bar
