I don't have my old truck or paperwork to refer to, but when I had the Access tonneau cover put on my Chevy, the shop that did it also installed a very nice tailgate seal kit. It worked very well. Hardly ever had to clean the back of that truck unless I carried a bunch of dirty stuff in the back. It stayed pretty much dust free.
I guess I could look in my truck file and see if I have the receipt for it still. It was unobtrusive and didn't impact how the tailgate latched - didn't make it any harder.

I'm looking to seal the tail gate. Mostly for dust since I have the topper and a fridge in the bed. Anyone have a kit they like or have used?

something like this is what I'm looking for.
https://www.amazon.com/TruXedo-Truck-Luggage-TruXseal-Universal/dp/B000BKKUSQ/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=tailgate+seal+kit&qid=1579306074&refinements=p_85:2470955011&rnid=2470954011&rps=1&sr=8-4
That's one of the tailgate seal products I looked at. I'm going to buy one - probably that one.

I had to search to find out the length...

Universal TruxSeal™ Tailgate Seal (1703206) by TruXedo®. 1 Kit. Length: 10'. Disclaimer: Truck tailgates are designed for drainage, not for tight seal.

I found one other one but it's 10' long and I can't tell if they use 3M adhesive so it's likely a non-contender

I'll know next week.
Needed something sooner rather than later. I'll leave a couple small gaps for any water that gets in to get our but I have a topper so not super worried about the tail gate over flowing.

Looks like it'll work.
The way the corner of the tailgate is there is a small gap. I don't see a way around that but it will allow for some drainage.

How does that differ from door or window weather stripping at Home Depot or Lowes? Looks fairly similar..

I'm sure either world work. Getting tape in the right spot might be the only piece?

Just wandering if this thing has held up. Getting tired of all the dust getting in the bed when we go off pavement.
