Talk me out of buying Milestar Patagonia X/T Rugged Terrain from Walmart

Maybe this will help talk you out of it…me and a buddy both ordered these through Walmart site…was pretty excited until I was sent Westlake tires (235/65/16). Friend got the same tires the next day…Walmart and Simple Tire (that shipped them) are blaming each other.

They said I needed to wait 48 hours (Walmart) to receive a shipping label. They said they can’t figure out what the mix up is….

Wise words, and 99% of the time it’s true.
I figured for $600 out the door it’ll be okay either way. No way I’m not going to get my money back if they ship me a different tire. I even reached out to Walmart customer service chat and they assured Me I’d be covered. I mentioned multiple people reporting that they were were receiving a different product than what then what they ordered. I saved the conversation for reference and it was enough to make me order them.

As I mentioned before, a handful of us forum members jumped on a killer tire deal a couple years ago from Walmart.

Maxxis RAZR 37X13.50X17 for $116 each. Free shipping. I still tell people to this day, and they can't believe it.

Sometimes you just gotta take a chance, and have a backup plan if it doesn't work out.

Just got a message from the seller and they are rerouting the shipments that have not made it to customers back to the warehouse, and refunds will be issued

“This tire are incorrectly listed hence We have requested FedEx to re-route the tires back to the warehouse.
Once the tires are in return transit, we will refund this order.

I got another email with the same response as the others. Mis labeling on the price at Walmart led to the cancellation not because they were sold out.

Full refund was issued to me . Can't complain couple years a got 35 at $80.00 a piece.
