Tazer Problem

Bought my 23 Sport used. Dealer put lift an 37 13.50 20s on it. I told them I wanted my speedometer adjusted before I bought it. Well after a week it was fine then noticed when I turned on a turn signal the backup camera would come on. Called them he said it may be the programmer they put on it. I found this in the glove box. But when I read up on it and tried to get it to connect.it won't. I'm pressing the right buttons. But it looks like the cheap one from Amazon not the legit Tazer. Is there a way to remove it since I can't access the settings? An order the legit one.. This is my first keep so the bs comments keep em to yourself.

I can always be wrong but get a tazer and when you marry it to the system it will be able to rewrite what changes you want .
JScan app and a access cord and blue dongle is another approach and has Alot of options to change things even to do a Quick Learn A Long Quick learn and Adaptive settings Relearn on the transmission to force the TCM to relearn the new tires and shift points .
Ypur really not going to get a quicklearn with Tazer. JScan is the avenue to go unless you can get the shop to do it .

So, its not a Tazer problem since thats not a Tazer. Your thread title is misleading, but I guess it will get peoples attention, as it did mine. But I would contact Z Automotive (Tazer) and see if buying an actual Tazer would fix your problem.

Yea for sure ditch the ching chong tazer. I have run the tazer since new for tire and gear swap and its been great! Highly recommend.

AEV makes the ProCal programmers. The book says ProCal, so I suspect that's AEV. I can't be certain of the actual dongle which used to be bigger than what you're holding in your hand. Typically, they need to remain connected to the security cables to work, but I have a Tazer not a ProCal. Tazer has a setting where you can turn the backup camera on with the turn signals, so the ProCal may also.

Defiantly not a AEV ProCal. They look nothing like what OP is holding. What OP is holding looks like a knock off Tazer.

Look under your dash near the OBDII post and see if you have a block similar to that up there. The backup camera as a turn signal cam is a live feature. The Tazer should look like this, https://www.zautomotive.com/products/z_tzr_jlm
