Thanks for the info Victor. Don't need to at this point, but it never hurts to know of other resources just in case. Thanks again! If it helps you out check into Care Credit. I didn’t have to but I used it on my now 14 year old Red Nose Pit about 8 years ago when she had some cancerous tumors removed. Made the cost interest free for 24 months.
Good luck to your friend and may she have a speedy recovery.
Our specialist surgeon was great. We ended up sleeping with ours for a while with a bed mattress in the middle of an xpen so we could get up and help her go out. When she healed it was as if it never happened. Stronger than the other leg in fact. Thanks! Exactly correct on the knee injury as well.
Thanks and that recovery report is wonderful news! Glad she is doing great now! You are truly a caring individual that loves animals! Our specialist surgeon was great. Thumbs up on the Care Credit. I used it for my 2 goldarn retrievers. Cooper had skin cancer. Jake blew his knee out. Care Credit worked out great. Jake was 10 yrs old when he blew his knee out. After surgery, he didn't want to move. It was all we could do to motive him. He ended up with hip dysplasia. Later on with arthritis in his lower back. It was all he could do to move. Had to put him down about 2 yrs after surgery. If it helps you out check into Care Credit. Reminds me a ton of my border collie. I’d sell my own kidney to get her a new one if it came to it. Screw the jeep, pet dogs. Thanks and yes, I will probably own another Jeep. The surgery is going to be about $5000.00 and we love her so we will get her knee repaired. Specialized surgery. Hard to say no to those sad eyes and see her limping all the time. Picture just before she hurt her knee.![]()
Sorry Russ about Jake. Sometimes even with the best surgery things don't work out as planned. You did what you could and now he is no longer in pain since he is over the rainbow bridge.Thumbs up on the Care Credit. I used it for my 2 goldarn retrievers. Cooper had skin cancer. methinks I know what vehicle you traded for ? good luck with your other truck! (I still lurk on some other forums so I may have been reading a certain thread)I have since traded in my 2021 Gladiator Rubicon on another vehicle
Hi Jeff. It is no secret what I traded for. Because of the value of the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon being worth more than I paid for it, I traded it for a Ford Ranger XLT Tremor. So even though I would of never used all the features of the Gladiator Rubicon, with the Ranger I still have a off road truck that I think will work for me. Can it do what the Rubicon will do, no way. But again, it should work for me, for now anyway. Never know, I may get another Jeep, however I needed the extra money that I got back for doing some things around the home, getting some accessories for the Ranger, and getting Sasha's knee surgery done. I am very blessed with what I have, however like most of us, we want to try and save money where we can and not run our savings too low. Especially at my age of almost 68!methinks I know what vehicle you traded for ? good luck with your other truck! (I still lurk on some other forums so I may have been reading a certain thread)
