Great video, thanks! I just bought my JT in January and when I got the email to sign up for these Jeep days I tried every one of them from Vermont down to where I live in PA but all were booked. I signed up for the wait list for three of them, we’ll see how it goes.
They do book up extremely quickly. I literally was signing up for this event the day after I got the email and it filled up before I could finish filling out the form. I got on a waiting list and fortunately a spot opened up about a month or two later.

Enjoyed the vid. Nice driving.
I did Coal Mtn with the Jeep Academy last September with my Overland. (Rubi susp. & rims) What a blast.
Glad you had a good time. Nice Rig you have there.

Thanks for the video! I'm heading to the Adventure Academy in Uwharrie, NC in May in a stock JTR 6-speed and was wondering what I could expect. Haven't really done much off-roading (mainly due to my lack of confidence) and this looks like they really show what our vehicles are capable of handling. Looking forward to my trip.

Thanks for posting this! I’ll be headed there in May with my son for the Jeep adventure academy. I’m quite new to off-roading so I’m hoping to learn a lot. I’ll have a small lift installed by the time I get down there. I’ll probably invest in a hitch skid plate as well.

Haven't been to Attica since my TJ was about 3 months old and on 31's. Need to get back up there sometime. It's a pretty cool park and I'm sure it's even better now than when I was there in '02.

Pretty sweet to see a near stocker run through this. I saw the event announcement and wanted to sign up but wasn't sure I'd have my Jeep before it happened. Definitely need to keep my eyes open for another event. Thanks for sharing!

They do a pretty good job of training you on the basics before you head out. You do a 2 hour session and then have lunch with a bit more training. The guides out on the trails make it really easy to know exactly where to go since you cannot see exactly what your wheels are hitting from the driver's seat.

If you don't feel confident yet, just remember that you are only going 2-5 mph in 4LO the entire time so even if you screw up it is very easy to fix it. I come from a motorsports background where just the opposite is true so everything came pretty naturally to me even though it was my 1st time at a dedicated off road park. I was still amazed how capable the truck was. Make sure you have some rock rails and you should be good.

You are going to have a blast. It was my first time at an off-road park too and you learn a lot (see above). If you already have a hitch from the factory it has a skid plate built in so you should be good. You will definitely scrape it in a few places- like coming out of the tubes and down the really steep decline at the end after the big rock steps.

Thanks for posting this and a great video. I’m scheduled to go this summer in Vermont so a lot of questions answered!

Great video and encouraging as I plan to take my 2020 Overland there this spring. I did upgrade to 33” A/t tires but otherwise I’m stock with side steps. I also have a LSD. Do think my side steps on these same trails will be ok?

That’s a great question. My rock rails scraped just a little bit, but they probably also hang lower. I think you would be ok, but maybe they scrape a few times.
