The death wobble

So just had all shocks replaced (wore out the bushings in the rear). So while doing that I went ahead and had the steering stabilizer done also. Went with Bilstein 5100s for a 4.5”lift and matching stabilizer. Well now I am experiencing a lot of wobble specifically if I hit a bump on one side. Is this common after this change? Never had this before in my 2020 Rubicon. What should I consider first to try to remedy?

Stock ball joints? They will allow a ton of movement with forces like that..

Yeah watched video and it’s definitely DW. I had experience with it in an Oder Jeep I owned growing up. But just now getting it in my Gladiator. Hopefully I can get it figured out as I work 48miles from home and in an ER so may end up at work if I’m not careful LoL

Check tie rod ends if you grab it and can fill play in it you will have to fix it

Can you still clock in if you're 'resting' in one of your own beds? Technically, you would be present...

Control arm bushings is another culprit.

What was done to correct caster angle with the lift?
What's your mileage?
Stock wheels and tires or something else?
You're asking for answers without giving a clear picture of your setup.

So the best advice is to check everything. Don't overlook anything, including the steering box, Pitman arm nut, in addition to everything in the above graphic.

Re-torque everything, start with that.

your new stabilizer is probably to weak. I went with the adjustable fox stabilizer , night and day diference

A properly setup Jeep with no worn out parts will not DW without a steering dampener installed.
