Well just got home yesterday and I feel a definitive improvement in front end feel, especially so from the loaner I was given since last Wednesday, a 2025 NightHawk, that was the same color GCM, but without any safety or comfort packages like I have. But bigger 275/55-20 MT tires, rock rails that now that I’ve seen want. Plus color matched hardtop, unlike my black. That was all over in heavy rain with those tires, I felt every pebble, but it was the noise I couldn’t live with. But the steering feel was secure, but not as smooth as what mine now feels like. The lame looking 345/75-17 Bridgestone Dueler HT tires on mine may look plain, but as so quite, get at least 1-2 mpg more, handle much better all around especially in heavy rain. All at 35 psi. But are very acceptable for beach sand, especially the sand up north compared with the Florida beach sand that’s not as deep and soft as on Cape Cod or Outer Banks. Where I’ve had no problem getting through at 10/15 psi. When the time comes to replace? I’m looking at Micheline in about the same size. But will go to AT tread. Because these tires I have now are terrible on the deep wet grass here in Florida, I needed 4 hi to get off the side of the road after making way for ambulances, after pulling off on a grassy slope.

Definitely far better for mpg and ride smoothness and QUIET compared to anything else you can run, but my experience was mixed with rain. Road surfaces come into play, so maybe that's a difference.
Be watchful picking out an A/T tire - not all are rated good for rain. I ran across some when picking out A/T tires for my first Overland that just weren't great in rain according to owners and ratings.
Probably won't matter since most of Florida doesn't see much rain anyway (he says sarcastically HAHA)

That's the official FCA word. That's their official stance, not a diagnosis of any sort. Dealers are told what to do and say. They don't really do much else.
Sure, it will be better because that part masks the wobble or shimmy.

My dad has a super duty that started a “shimmy” as he called it when hitting a rut. Ford dealership fix was a new steering stabilizer. Seems to be the universal cop out.

So it’s been a few days now after the dealer did what feels like a great job. The added a new steering damper, tightened all nuts and bolts in the front and rear-aligned the front end, that was off they said enough to warrant a couple adjustments on both sides to make the axle lay back a couple degrees, not quite enough to notice by eye they said, but showed me a printout that had a red lettering when checking on both sides, then black when rechecked. That’s how it was explained to me by the technician who does all their alignment jobs. He works 45-50 hours a week and gets paid very well. I can’t say enough about this dealer, that’s well worth the 1 hour ride from home. Now the truck drives dead on straight wheel on all surfaces and will return to center very easily and naturally.
