Second... and my official answer... a 2007 Platinum Silver Metallic Subaru WRX STi. I only had this car for about a year. Sold it in late 2010. Full 3 inch turbo back straight pipe exhaust with a Cobb stage 2 off the shelf tune. Super clean body. Flawless interior. Low miles. Plus, I had the stock STi wheels powdercoated metallic blue... it looked bananas, but I loved it. I was getting out of the Navy and we were moving to Houston. My wife was driving my 2004 WRB WRX that was fully built. Full suspension, full brakes, gutted, bolt in half-cage, 350whp... but I couldn't blame her for not wanting to drive a manual in Houston traffic. Had to get rid of one of my scoobs and I just couldn't part with the '04, I'd had it for years and it meant a lot to me. Sold the STi and got her an Acura TL Type-S that we still have to this day.

I just feel like my time was cut short with the STi and they are so damned expensive now. If I could get that thing back, I would 100% do it. I'd probably keep it forever too!
Ahhhh, I can relate here. Very much regret selling my 2002 Bugeye WRX. Bought it off the lot in 2001 and built it over 7 years. Tons of slinging parts and wrenching. Almost every bolt was turned...tons of fun. 350 whp with an 18G and meth injection, all on the stock 5 speed. Sigh...

NOOOOOOO! That's a terrible one! Haha!
In my defense, I didnt sell it because I didnt love the car. I was 21 and was making ok money when I purchased the supra. The car was about half paid when I sold it, it was the insurance that was killing me. I had no accidents or points but my insurance was almost 10k a year!!! I guess I started getting rational at 23 lmfao. I blame the insurance company ☹

My first "car" when I was 16 was a 1968 El Camino.
I hated it, thought it was dorky as hell. It it drove like a boat and was scary as hell in the snow.
It it was cheep at the time being a gas guzzler and my Dad wanted us to have a "truck" in the family so that was what I was getting.

I later sold it to buy a Toyota Celica.

I would LOVE to own it today.

We're not talking about women here fellas... haha! (or men for the ladies on here... or anything else in between.)

I love these stories. It's good to sit down and reminisce about the good times every once in a while.

What is the one vehicle you don't have any longer that you wish you still had? Pictures only add to the story!

Edit: I realize this won't be 100% Gladiator related... but it will certainly be at least partially Gladiator related!

Easy one for me

I traded it when I was single, made a lot less money than I do now, and started driving 80-100 miles a day. I damn near couldn't afford to keep gas in it (an every-other day habit of ~15 gallons). I still have the replacement and the Gladiator is better in almost every way, but I do miss it.

My first mazdaspeed3 was similar. I got it used and only had it for about 4 years but touched everything on the car. 350/375 at the wheels on a GT3071. It would scoot once you got it rolling, or would spin tires in 4th on anything other than a perfectly dry, hot road. Ridiculous car.

I've had my 2010 MS3 since August 2015 and it's been great but I have not done nearly the same amount of work, lost the '07 due to failing compression so I kept it stock-ish on the new one. It will out handle the old one but never gives me that same kick

This is more of a "car I missed out on" story.

Aunt had a black on black 1969 Firebird that she bought new. I asked her many, many times if she ever wanted to sell it to please call me first. She sold it to somebody else for an absolute song because she thought I wouldn't want to go out to Arizona to get it. Sad face. Very sad face.
