Just take the 35 out for wheeling?

If you get a bedrack you can relocate the spare tire carrier from under the truck to under the rack. Then maybe add a sliding tray for easy bed access.

What traction mats are those? have a link to them? They look like they fit perfectly between the wheel arches!
Rugged ridge boards. Got them through 4wp it came with a shovel for free so I couldn’t pass it up

Have you considered the bumper swing option?

I definitely considered that. That was option one until I priced it all out. I’d rather spend that money on a regear and air locker which is next on my list

All valid points I went with what I liked. Here or anywhere else I’m catching a lot of grief for this. Did it out of personal opinion. I like the looks and the Quick access of the bed mount.

It doesn't take very long to fill up the bed on a JT (see below). The thing I like most about Jeeps and Jeep people is that they overcome and adapt to whatever the situation is. I believe this is why so many Vet's are drawn to this brand. Whatever serves the need for the individual on their particular vehicle is what's best, thus affording us the opportunity to look at, marvel at, and copy from they accomplished to overcome and or adapt to what their need was. In Jeepin, there is no one size fits all, and individuality gets shared on an equal basis.

Love your setup! And very well said! There is a ton of options and you just pick what you like. I’ve been flamed on Facebook for doing this it’s great. I just did what I liked and after beating the snot out of my spare I decided I’d rather mount it where it won’t puncture. I wheel quite often and this thing high sides out back a bit. The extra room underneath has been awesome.

Little Friday project. The return of useable bed space! Before I had my full size spare strapped to the floor of the bed. Hated taking my spare in and out even for small stuff.

Installed Mopar Trail rails, Builtright front molle panel and last but not least a DV8 Vertical bed side tire mount.

Really wanted the AEV vertical tire mount but my patience ran thin after being strung along for 3 months waiting for it. Overall I’m extremely pleased with the outcome.

The first picture is the before

This is with 35's/12.5 and 17in Black Rhinos-Sticks out less and fits tire snug against rail. Wilco!

I’m a no...to me it looks out of place. But if you like it, that’s all that counts.

why not mount under where it belongs?
It’s my Jeep? It’s not below anymore because I’ve damaged my spare on departures as I typically don’t have a spotter with me. Nearly punctured it as well. I like it and figured I’d share my experience just in case someone was looking at buying one.

I almost went this route. Is that the Wilco mount? I heard it had a few vibration issues or that’s what I was going with. I’m happy overall with my decision. I use my trailer more than my bed. The beds are tiny on these anyways.

Bingo! It takes scraping it two or three times then your mind changes. I use my jeep as a jeep. Better than a mount that uses the full bed
