It’s my Jeep? It’s not below anymore because I’ve damaged my spare on departures as I typically don’t have a spotter with me. Nearly punctured it as well. I like it and figured I’d share my experience just in case someone was looking at buying one.
yeah...which is why I said if you like it?

you posted it on an open forum, so not everyone will like it...

I appreciate your post. I had to take my spare spot and replace with a compressor (and maybe an air horn). I considered this mount and the one that sits at an angle. Think I might have to go with a tailgate mount, carry some gas in there too since I like to run out on the highway

All valid points I went with what I liked. Here or anywhere else I’m catching a lot of grief for this. Did it out of personal opinion. I like the looks and the Quick access of the bed mount.
Man its getting so almost anything you put on public media you are going to get smashed by the keyboard cowboys regardless if its what you like or not. You just keep doing you and if it works for you that's all that matters.

I’m thinking of using it for a compressor mount as well.

Love your setup. That looks really clean.

BTW, go dogs! GA born and raised!

This is with 35's/12.5 and 17in Black Rhinos-Sticks out less and fits tire snug against rail. Wilco!

Below is a couple of shots on my mount. I don’t mind the look but it really did take away a lot of my bed space. My 37 didn’t fit under the bed like the normal spare would. I also wouldn’t chance it considering the factory designed it for 33/35” tires.

but I was wondering if anyone out there is running the same set up with a bed rack over the spar?

I headed out to broken arrow & Schnebly Road Hill in AZ a couple wks ago and loved hitting a few trails and camping in a remote place. Looking to that more.

Any advice?

Can it be mounted in the right side of the bed? Driving solo I would want to mount it on the opposite side to balance the weight a bit.
