Does anyone know or have experience with how much weight the two black D ring anchor points in the corners of the bed can take?
They are the ones that swivel and are in the two corners towards the cabin.

I plan on strapping a manual come-along winch between them to pull a 150kg (330 pounds) generator up a pair of steep loading ramps and into the tray.

Looking for any insight whether they should be able to support the weight.

It should be able to handle that pull, but remember up that ramp it will add dynamic weight (so add the gravitational force (lifting) and the force of the friction up the ramp. Good luck.

If that generator is on casters you should be good. No casters you’ll need to watch real close. Not only the gravitational force but the friction force will add pounds to that pull. If you have access to a sxs or a tractor to help with a push that would be way safer.

For anyone wondering, I'm relieved to say they can take the weight. I used a 10-tonne tree strap as a bridle and had no issues. The ramps I used were 2170mm long, and I replaced the two legs on the generator with castors to reduce resistance.

Good job!! I was going to mention using longer ramps but those look like they’re pretty good length.

Can't tell for sure in the pics, but it looks like you rigged whats called the "death triangle". Here's a webpage that describes what that is and shows examples of the proper way. Way more math on the webpage than I care to get into. lol
That was hammered into us in a high angle rope rescue course I took quite a few years ago as well as training for overhead lifting at an aerospace facility where I used to work.

Stevie,
if your moving this generator a lot, this might be a safer easier set up for you. I mounted the mobile crane on a solid 2” shaft that pins into a 2” receiver hitch and added a Warn 2K winch and a wireless remote. This set up pictured it’s mounted to my haul trailer in a horizontal receiver welded to the trailer frame. I’m almost finished with adapter and extension that fits in the JT’s rear hitch.

Good catch! Thanks for pointing that out, John.

I gave that article a read and can see where I went wrong. I hadn't at all considered the additional stress I'd be putting on the anchors by threading the strap directly between them, compared to an ordinary 'V' configuration.

My intentions were to use up some of the unnecessary length of the strap because it was too long otherwise, but I'll have to rig a proper hitch from now on.

On the bright side, now I know those swivelling anchors are even stronger than I thought!

For anyone else interested, I found this article to also be useful:

As well as this 'load per anchor' comparison table in the Wikipedia:

That's a great setup! I only have to haul the generator once in a blue moon, so it wouldn't be worth the investment at the moment. I am keen on the project though, so I might have to come up with a few creative excuses to convince myself it's a necessity...

If it doesn't have wheels set on card board slide up If it does and they are only on the rear use the cardboard under the legs ,It no cardboard offer 20 bucks to someone to pull up into the bed ,if your out of money ,use your winch throw line over a limb drive under hook to generator raise generator drive backwards let down into bed. If no winch or tree 🤔.........well I dont know your screwed.
