Welp got going today

There is nothing and I mean nothing I hate more then removing trim panels
I missed to screws and cracked the panel
Not like it freaking mattered cause all the upper clips broke
Just want to send a middle finger to jeep engineering for the interior thanks for making a unserviceable part!!!!!
Anyways guess since I have it all apart and it's gonna be a while till I get a new panel maybe I will spend some time sound insulating

I keep far too much stuff in my truck to give up precious under seat storage.

But - if that's not a problem for you then using it for electrical systems is a great idea. Cooler / easier on electronics then being in a hot engine bay and shorter runs depending on where your accessories are located.
this is all the room it took up

i finished !!!!!!

i made it all fit inside the cubby behind the rear seat
Jeep Gladiator thinking about adding a fuse relay box under rear seat 20240830_202143

so the rear has 2 triggers ....1 is the factory reverse light the other is a aux switch. i also have a kill switch near the ebrake for the automatic function of the reverse factory light
when reverse light is triggered
1. the light bar is powered
2. license plate light is cut
3. a double pole double throw relay provides power to the actuator
when the trigger stops the dpdt provides power to lower the light so i dont have to control up and down

i got a harness splitter for the tow power socket and used that with a 20ft extension to run up the passenger side of the bed and wired it into the last bank of connectors. the reverse light was not a part of the long wires but more a pigtail and it had 2 brown wires so i just wired reverse into one of the brown wires as i did not need two for tail lights and whatever
each of those connector banks besides the last is a pole of the relay. first is normally open second is normally closed and third is the trigger wire to actuate the relay .....
i will grab picks tommorow but i used water proof molex connectors from these connectors to car components so if i need to i can remove the wiring box and work on it without disocnnecting everything

i will be adding a wire tap from the rear behind the seat wire to trigger my rock lights for approach and welcome lighting
if anyone has any questions let me know !!!!!
