JJ77, I second the recommendation of Fox Acoustics (Fox Box) w/singleCheck out Fox Acoustics, I have one of their enclosures. It is for 1-10" sub and ported (tuned to 35 hz) I went with DC Audio for the sub.
Glad to see there's finally evidence that proves I can mount my 8s under the seat with enough depth. If I had my own way I would do forward facing but I can't see there being 9.5" under the front of the seat, so I have to go upward facing. There's not enough room behind the seat for my 8s.JJ77, I second the recommendation of Fox Acoustics (Fox Box) w/single
10. I installed the same with DS18 10” sub a couple of weeks ago and my bro-in-law just had JL Stealthbox installed and he’s VERY jealous and disappointed…my box blows his away at less than 1/2 the price including my amp!
What DC sub did you go with?. The ones I see call for a smaller enclosureCheck out Fox Acoustics, I have one of their enclosures. It is for 1-10" sub and ported (tuned to 35 hz) I went with DC Audio for the sub.
Nice boxes, just not big enough for my two 8s. Need 5.25 depth and it looks like your box maxes out at 4.5 if I'm reading correctly. We make a subwoofer box for 2-10s, 3-10s, and 4-8s. Feel free to brows our website for all available options. brpautodesigns.com
We can add a 3/4 spacer to the box if needed. That would bring it upto 5.25.Nice boxes, just not big enough for my two 8s. Need 5.25 depth and it looks like your box maxes out at 4.5 if I'm reading correctly.
That's good to know, I wasn't sure if there would be enough space for my 8s under the seat. I've had em for a couple years still in boxes, was going to go under the seat of my Silverado till I sold it. I'll keep you in mind as christmas is coming up quickly. We can add a 3/4 spacer to the box if needed. That would bring it upto 5.25.
