Just picked one of these up on Amazon. Dual cylinder had good reviews. Anybody have one for some feedback?

Seems a little late to ask for reviews since you already bought it. I look forward to your ownership review post, though.

Thanks Captain Obvious, didn’t answer my question but have come to expect it on these forums. I will review it when I get a chance to use it. By the way it is made in USA here in Colorado I believe. Edit, it is assembled in USA, so probably chinesium like everything else in the world lol.

I have one. Airs up my 35s quickly. Gets super hot and the gauges don’t seem to work well. When i use it to inflate my paddleboards it has trouble getting them to 15psi and starts to smoke everytime of the second inflation. So i still have to inflate those by hand.

For the paddle board, I wonder if a high volume compressor might work better than a high pressure compressor.

yeah, that’s probably true. Bought thor’s paddleboard attachment with the inflator, just expected more. Plus was hoping my family could use it but it just gets way too hot. Takes longer to cool down then to inflate tires.

Do you mean Thors Lightening air compressor? I don't run one, I already have on board air, but I use their deflate/inflate kit and it works great. Yes the company is here in Colorado, but I am not sure where all their products are manufactured. I know the owner of the company and unfortunately the Chinese have copied all of his products and you can but the knock offs on Amazon and else where. The compressor works great as I have several friends who are running them, but they all bought theirs directly from the company, not on Amazon.

Been using mine for about two years now. I've been using it more steadily since about October, and am using it at least every other weekend.

I went all in and got the four hose system, and I strongly recommend that you get that in conjunction with the compressor. Although I spend more time setting it up than actually airing up, it means that I can fire and forget for about six minutes and take care of other things, like logging the run.

It's been running reliably. I ensure I keep it dry when it's raining, and if a friend needs to borrow it (we all have one), I give it about fifteen minutes to cool down before I reuse since it's not an all-day compressor.

Additionally, the four hose system allows for unified deflation. If you use the hoses to deflate, ensure you leave them on for a minute after you reach your target PSI to ensure the pressure balances between all the tires.

The only gripe I've had so far isn't about the compressor itself, but about the four hose system, and it's minor: the digital readout is incorrectly calibrated, but I know that the magic number on the gauge is 11 if I want to come down to 15 PSI.

I am unsure if Thor's Lightning updated their warranty, but I know Go Rhino offered a similar setup with a longer warranty.

If we are going to get into naming each other's deficiencies, I'm down to participate. Before you start down that road, you did buy a product and then come ask in a public forum whether it was a good one to buy; that's not the usual order of operations for those things. So either you have a significant impulse control problem or a burning need for validation from random internet strangers.

I'm guessing a little from column A and a little from column B.
