I haven’t regeared but from the countless times it has come up on the forum, I would go with 5.13s. I still haven’t seen anyone wishing they had went with 4.88 instead of 5.13.

Plus, Idk what part of South Korea you’re in but I have heard that Seoul’s streets are hilly like San Francisco’s - more reason to go 5.13s I believe.

Another 5.13/5.38 vote. ALWAYS over-gear a Jeep, its shaped like a brick, so fuel mileage will suck above 70 no matter what. Especially in a mountainous country, you'll be happier having the torque to pull grades.

I sold Jeep parts at 2 different off road shops all through college, had plenty of people say they wish they would have gone deeper, can't say I ever had someone regret going too deep.

I’ve got 10k miles and a few wheeling trips on my 5.38’s and I couldn’t be happier. Paired with 37’s and a Banks Pedal monster, my daily driving experience is phenomenal. My truck is super responsive and the motor pulls hard, I never feel like I’m turning heavy Ridge Grapplers. I’d say that my average MPG is around 14, not horrible for how hard I typically drive it. I wound up in Dana 5.38’s simply because the 5.13’s were back ordered for so long. Turned out to be the best thing I never wanted.
