Is that 35 on the back or is that factory? My front are 35% and here’s a few photos at angles to show comparisons to back factory tint. I think it blends well enough and not too dark I can't see.

Exactly what I did (not sure the brand, but was ceramic). In FL they are a bit more lenient than other states - I've had darker in previous vehicles. I drove through Georgia once and was pulled over, I said obviously I live in FL, but he still pulled me over.I went with 25% Llumar ceramic up front and to my eye it looks like an exact match to the back. This was recommended by thte tint shop that does a lot of jeeps when I mentioned I wanted as close of a match as possible. As noted above...up to you to determine legality and your "comfort" with possibly being hassled by the police in your area.
We you pulled over for the tint or pulled over for something else and they cited you for the illegal tint? I’ve never been pulled over for inside tint, but if I do get pulled over for anything else, I roll down the front windows and have my license and registration ready and yes sir, no sir my way hopefully out of a ticket and have never had any mention of my window tint. I’ve pretty much always ran 20% except the fiancées car is 35% so she doesn’t have to deal with inspections or anything and my Audi that I leased was 35%. 35% doesn’t help as much with the heat or privacy, but at least in a sedan it all matches. This is 35% on one of my Audis I had a few years back. It’s better than nothing, but you can see right through it in bright sunshine. I did the back window 20% because it’s so low to the ground and they can’t really test the back window.I was once pulled over for my tint being too dark. Dark Blue ZR2 S10 with 20%... I had 10 days to remove it and check back with the police dept. I won't waste the money a second time.
ah, i know a tint guy and have had no issue getting whatever percent done that I want.20% is a perfect visual match for the factory rear tint. I've done it too many times to countHowever, you'll need to find a shop that will do 20% in TN. Most will only do 35%, some will do 20% with no receipt/warranty.
I will say that 20% at night has a lot of internal reflection and is difficult to see out in the dark. If you drive a lot at night, keep that in mind.
I was pulled over strictly for my window tint. I was doing 1 mph over the speed limit, I put my windows down, turned on my dome light and kept my hands on the steering wheel and treated the officer with respect. He asked my why I put my windows down and then told me to put them up half way. He used a meter of some kind to check the %. Wrote me a warning and said I had 10 days to bring it down to the station without the tint.We you pulled over for the tint or pulled over for something else and they cited you for the illegal tint? Not a Jeep, but showing for comparison in case it helps.

That’s not very common with 20% tint. I’m sorry that happened to you.I was pulled over strictly for my window tint. This was years ago but it still hits me (it wasn't easy to pull off the tint). I'm pretty cautious when I drive and do everything I can to stay off the police radar. In my 18 years of driving I've only been pulled over twice, this being one of those times.
Not a big deal. Just wanted to make everyone aware that it CAN happen. That’s not very common with 20% tint. I’m sorry that happened to you.
For me, tint is not one of those things I'll go past legal limit on. It just gives them an immediate reason to pull you over if they really need one. Last thing you need is to get pulled over because of your tint, they find something else in the process, and now you're fighting two battles, or 3, or 4... all because you really wanted that slightly darker tint.
My advice: Don't give them a reason!
