Does anyone with the pizza cutter Mickey Thompson 35's have a diameter measurement off-hand when under load on the truck?

I would just like to get a good idea on the diameter difference vs my KM2's as they sit under the truck (those compressed about an inch to 31" actual diameter).

Thanks

I measured front and back somewhere in 33.75-33.875" with a tape measure and a level on the top of the tire. I don't have enough hands to take a photo. That was with maybe 150-200 lbs of in the back seat. I later took everything out and measured again but it still didn't get to 34".

I just put M/T Baja Boss A/T LT255/85R17 (35x10.00R17) on my unlifted Sport Max Tow on take-off JLR rims.
...
They are load range E but even at 45psi the ride is acceptable to me.
Not all load range E tires are created equal. The 255/85R17 BBAT tires are very flexy.

IMO, do some experimenting with the pressure. These tires seem to have a very convex tread profile. On my JKRX (I know, different animal, but full steel armor, winch, and a ProRock 44, so she's heavy), I found that I would not get full contact across the entire width of the tread until the pressure was down around 22psi. Yes, you read that right, 22psi. I now run them at 28-30psi front and 26-28psi rear for the street. Off-road, 20psi still gives me plenty of sidewall flex.

Indeed, I think 45 psi is too high. Discount Tire determined that from their tire load inflation tables. The stock tires at 36 psi are rated for 2200 lbs. According to the table a load range E tire requires 43.5 psi to achieve that rating.

The manufacturer's rep recommended 35 psi. He also told me minimum pressure without beadlocks is 20 psi.

Quick question, I'm going to install the Mopar 2 inch lift on my 2021 Willys JT and am considering tire upgrades. I'm looking at 285/70R17 vs. 35x12.5R17 and think I would prefer the extra ground clearance from the 35's. Any pros or cons I should consider?

I second this option. You're never going to be happy with 285s, and you'll always wonder what if. Had I been looking for 35s I would have gone with one of the narrower tire options listed above. A quick search will find some lengthy threads on options available with several photos to check out. Before you buy those 285s, just remember that a stock Tacoma can run 285s and we are better than that lol
I agree with this sentiment. Went with a set of Coopers same size as originals . Hated em . Hut I drove the tread off em. So I went with a teraflex 2.5 lift and stuck the 35x12.50x17's and steel rims on couldn't be happier. Dont go with the whatvif . If you can afford it go all the way.

I went with 285-70-17's BFG KO2's
and a 1 inch Teraflex spacer to bring the front end up a little after adding a steel bumper, winch plate, skid plate and winch.
