I have a Willys with Teraflex 1.5" leveling pucks and plan to go to 315/70r17's on my stock wheels. Would 0.5" wheel spacers be enough to clear at full turn when flexed? Also, I have an auto trans with 3.73 gears. Would the 34.4" tires hurt me much on gas mileage and power?

Thanks in advance.

The standard for Jeep wheel spacers is typically 1.5", 1.75", or 2". A half inch spacer would require custom studs. I'd recommend the 1.5".

You'll notice a difference in performance. I have 4.10s and there was a slight but noticeable difference just going from the stock 245's to the 285 Rubi tires.

But since I am not Jeeper Jamie, messaging direct or tagging @Jeeperjamie would help expedite your request.

It's going to be tough to find a hub centric wheel spacer that's O.5", I've never saw one available. I ran 1.75" hub centric ones on my jeep with 4.10 gears and it did great with 35's and 37's. Never saw less than 18.5 mpg on 35's and haven't been under 17 mpg on 37's but a few times and that was just slightly. Your gonna take a hit with 35's on 3.73 gears, how much will come down to your tire choice based on weight and tread. Also how you drive it will come into play, aggressive vs babying it. Either way your gonna take a hit. A 0.5" spacer would be enough to clear the lower control arms but if it's not a hub centric spacer then I'd not sign off on it. Seen to many of the slide on spacers crack, especially with heavy tires on there.

Thanks to both of you for your answers. I may just to go with a slightly smaller tire.
