I have a 2024 Mojave X. I keep having issues with the Passenger side rear TPMS, I had it in the shop 3 times now. it works for a little bit and it shows under bars __ u with a warning message have the TPMS system. Until I get it in the sop again, and it just happened to me again, yesterday

I suspect that signal is not strong enough. for the signal receiver location.
Has anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, what was the permanent fix?

Has anyone look to have signal repeater/booster and if so, which one?

Might be your wheels if running aftermarket. Some wheels and certain offsets will cause signal issues.

What has the shop done so far? Have they replaced the battery in the sensor? Have they replaced the sensor? Can they see the sensor info with their scanner?

Isn’t it under warranty?

Each time they replaced with new sensor as it is under warranty. I have only had this 3 months - how many times can I go
In for the same problem?
There has to be some sort of signal repeater/ booster available- I just cannot go in every week to have this resolved

There is no signal repeater or booster available. Try and get them to replace the radio hub that reads the sensors.

As long as the warranty is active, they have to keep repairing it. Depending on your state, there are lemon laws that address problems that cannot be repaired. You need detailed records and documentation if you go that route, and a consultation with a lemon law lawyer (but don't mention it to the dealer).

It may seem like a minor issue, or an annoying problem to deal with, but TPMS is a federally mandated safety system. Remind the dealer of that, and how many times it has been in for the exact same problem.

I have a 2024 Mojave X with no issues…. & I’ve had the tires rotated once (by the dealer). Only about 5,500 miles on it now (had it since March).

Have you tried rotating the tires ?? Does the problem follow the tire? Or does it stay in the original position (passenger side rear)? Or does the problem go away completely?

I would hope the dealership should be smart enough to understand….. if you’re still having issues, they should be replacing the module that receives/reads those signals.

If your current dealership can’t (or doesn’t want) to GET IT FIXED…. Take it to another dealership.

Sounds like the TPMS module is fucked......sadly, a trip to the dealer for warranty work is in your future

This sucks, wife is not happy that another trip into service / repair. I just find it strange, there are repeaters for Cell signals, Wifi ( extender/repeater/mesh ). but for something like this. with heavily trafficked frequency you would think - probably explains why tesla moved to Bluetooth sensors.

Yeah rotated the tires, it is always the rear passenger. which made me think these sensors are not strong enough for the antenna receiver and its position. too far away

If it is the same sensor each time, the radio hub may not be the problem. Has anything been modified that could interfere with that sensor? Have the wheels been rotated and does the problem follow the wheel? That would eliminate the hub and the interference idea.

that is the most interesting part. Once it is fixed, it works fine for a day or two, then it goes out, I manage to find some time, to leave it at a shop for a while. ( keep in mind most dealers are not doing loaners anymore - so now I need to pay for a rental ). they fix it again, and then a day or two later we are back at it. I simply do not have the time, patience and money to rent a vehicle every week. there needs to be a solution somewhere. I have never had this problem in any other car or jeep that I owned.

What exactly has the dealership changed?? Only the sensors in the wheels?
Did you tell them that you rotated the tires an the problem stays in the same position?

I’m guessing…it works fine for a few days because they did a RESET on the module (or whatever it is), did a SETUP and LEARN procedure.

You have aftermarket wheels??
