I'd like at least power up/down in my situation. It's tight maneuvering here and a ton of back and forth. I'd not mind the manual angle (although the blade on my JD is full hydraulic) I could get used to getting out and changing the angle.
The great thing about those plows is you pull a pin and drive away from it. I could plow, pull around by my shop, drop it off, and drive into town, sans blade.

Free floating, 1” rubber cutting blade, no electricity or hydraulics. $1800 install yourself. I love it.
It was actually directed at Red Green, your rig just slipped in.

As for your plow, it's a small light plow and very different from mine. Different tools for different needs.

It does come with a winch option. As for back and forth, I never had a problem clearing any amount of snow in any direction. Yep, easy on easy off. I’m an old fart too.

We have land in NH that we will be building on soon. The driveway is about 700 ft. Depending on whether or not we end up getting a Kubota mini tractor or not, I may also consider just buying a 10 year old F150 with a plow.

Prior to this used truck pricing madness you could pick up a beater for under 10k.

I've had friends buy old trucks from down south. So no rust, and then fit them with a plow once they get it. If you don't mind a road trip that can work.

For example, check out this truck. Under 100k miles.

I have a snowsport plow. Front receiver or back. Works awesome.
Jeep Gladiator Too early? OLD FART QUESTION! Snow Plow. galloping goos

There's an oar for everyone on this boat. In my case, as I do it for money supporting bigger plows when I'm not running the bigger plows, a homeowner is not for me. But had I just to worry about my own driveway and mailbox, just enough is just fine.

The same mount can also take a baby V meant for a UTV but you can make some wings to get it past the tires.
