I finally was able to make up my mind and purchase a JT 2021 high altitude Thursday. I was choosing between JL but figured I could really use a truck in the household, when necessary.
Oh what the heck, I just wanted it,, I don't really need a truck.

Also, I was able to use tread lightly and go into a dealership after negotiating through emails, a price that I wanted to pay without it being MSRP or a rebate reduced deal.

With tread lightly and a little extra discount, I negotiated my deal to $54600, with $2k rebates, this is before Fees and T/L.

Great choice in the Mastercraft Courser tires. I ran those on my JL and have nothing but good things to say about them.

It's been a long time in the making.... had my first in Jeep in 99', a slightly used 97' and then a new one in 2001 (60th anniversary edition), bought at the same time my father did... his was white, mine was black. Fantastic memories wheeling with him in Moab!

My first custom order Jeep, a JK in 2012. Had great plans for that Jeep, but it wasn't meant to be... circumstances required me to take in my niece and nephew, to which it had to go (now had 5 kids to shuffle around), so a suburban took its place. Hard to let it go, but family first! However, 9 years later and 3 kids released into the wild world, the wife and i finally filled the void and purchased a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon (3.6L) on the 12th of July!

Honestly, what a lucky find, fit all the criteria... color, interior, options, etc. Exactly as we'd have ordered it! Reserved it while it was on the train inbound to the dealer, timing was just impeccable!

Planned ahead and doing thing right this time! Inbound is a 3.5" Metalcloak game-changer suspension system, Dirty Life 9303 DT-1 17x9 wheels and some 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers sneakers. I'm going to give it some more time before jumping into the 37 world, want to get gearing, axle gussets and additional steering items first, besides, we're going primarily for overlanding/camping. However, crawling a bit isn't out of the equation, just not right now.

I've gone on enough! Maybe we'll meet on the trails sometime, be safe fellow jeepers!

Signing in. I bought a 21 Mojave in Sting-gray on June 24. Really enjoining it. Only mods are a Line-X bed liner and tonneau cover.

I’ve owned a couple of Wranglers and missed having one, but need a pickup occasionally. Very happy with the Mo-Jayve so far.

It’s been a multiple month process of searching for exactly the right vehicle for what I want/need. That combined with being away from home for nearly a year, and all variety of family issues that looked like they were going to sink any hope of this happening. But the stars aligned, and I took delivery of my very first Jeep a few days ago and I am a happy camper so far!

We plan on some upgrades but it will remain a daily, so probably no 6 inch lift for a while. The license plate is DINOSOR so we’ll try to stick with that theme. I figure a grill with teeth and angry eyes eventually. Bye for now

Welcome to the forum. Anyone mention to you that you got a good looking Willys? Or shall I say Willis? You got a a good looking Willys may come off sounding kinda forward.

Anyway, the kiddo's look like they like their Gladiator too.

Got to bring mine home yesterday. Everything is awesome, except now the dog runs straight to the tailgate when I start walking to the driveway! It’s been less than 24 hours, but he is obsessed. (don’t worry, I don’t drive on the regular roads with him back there)
