Yep, they are hard to find, for sure. I will admit I paid a little more for a couple of the harder to find ones on Ebay. But whenever in a Walmart, Target, or Meijer, I always head for the toy section to see what can be found. In Houston, Tx, around Christmas, I scored the jackpot on the Willy's WWII Matchbox Jeeps and picked up about 6 of them. (I left 5 or 6 for others, too.) I like to give those away to kids who come with their parents on Jeep club trips. They go bonkers over them.Still have yet to find any Hot Wheels. I don't know what's up with them. There has been hardly any new stock at Walmart in quite a while. Guess the chip shortage is affecting the small scales too. LOL

I give out Gladiators to other Gladiators I see. I managed to get over a dozen of the red ones and have a few extra of the purple and green and will keep looking for more green.Yep, they are hard to find, for sure. If Matchbox/Hotwheels would produce enough of them, they could replace the dopey Jeep ducks!
Many of the Jeeps in my collection, btw, are from Johnny Lightning. They have VERY good ones with lots of detail. They also have special editions, like movie Jeeps such as Sarah Connor's CJ from The Terminator and Daisy Duke's Golden Eagle! I haven't seen them do a Gladiator or JL yet. They really need to get on that!
Ha, I bought a red one today at TargetNot a Gladiator, however found this Willys Wrangler today. They had three so bought them all.
Got the red one a couple of months ago, still looking for the red, doors off matchbox at stores. Doubt I'm going to find one there though.Ha, I bought a red one today at Target

Where are you pre-ordering the green light ones?Don't forget that Greenlight diecast has a slew of Gladiator's coming out soon. Most likely this fall. I have pre-ordered every one so far. They have Rubicon, sport and Mojave test shots floating around.
I also found the green Hot Wheels one a few weeks ago. I'm caught up.
Start looking for this Hot wheels version real soon:
