Things have come a long way in 25 years. As a early teenager I was obsessed with RC and die cast metal scale models. But back then you had to spend hundreds for a quality model. Which I did...no clue where those things are today.

I have pondered a large scale RC to do things I wouldn't in my Gladiator....
Axial seems to have a good product. Although not as realistic as it can get.... So I did some searching. and some amazing finds popped up.

I can think of a better way to spend 2K. But, you have to admit, it's awesome

There's a Facebook group I follow I think it's called RC Car. They must be based in Europe but the scale and detail of some of their models are - well...they must cost thousands and thousands...

I do. Greenlight are more expensive unfortunately. They have some very nice models though so sometimes I'll put out more for them. I believe this one is a special edition.

The black bandits are "special" but not worth big extra money. Black wheels, black interior, black exterior. Maybe someday long down the road. By that they are not limited in count or rarity. For example the hotwheels "super treasure hunt" sells for $.99 in the stores but once found they resell for $20. and up.....I have a few different models in the black bandit series but they aren't really worth more than the price tag.
