2021 Gladiator Rubicon, 1500 miles. Had 35's put on at DT a few hundred miles ago. The day after having the tires mounted, I would periodically have a blinking TPMS light that would turn solid and no reading on the driver front / rear tires. This would persist for some time and then eventually the readings would come back and lights would clear. This reoccurs and disappears every few drive cycles. Of course the light is never on when I'm near DT. I am now only having issues with the driver front.

I'm not super familiar with TPMS, I have tried inflating the tires > 3 psi over 37 and then lowering down. I have seen some references to a bad TPMS module but since this is intermittent, would that be more indicative of a sensor that was damaged during the tire change?

2021 Gladiator Rubicon here too. Shipped 35's to the dealer and had them install them. TPMS warning light was normal for about 10 miles. Been on ever since. I bought the vehicle 1,400 hundred miles from my home and the local Jeep dealer was no help. Buckle up...I predict this will annoy you for a while. Just like it continues to do for me. Best wishes though.

Is it blinking in error, or is it blinking for low tire pressure? If it's low tire pressure, and your tires are actually below 37 psi, it's because the TPMS needs to be reset to whatever pressure you're running, but the dealers aren't allowed to change the tpms setting anymore. So you have to do it yourself with a jscan, tazer, or similar.

If you're getting no reading at all. Sounds like you have a defective tpms sensor. Should be under warranty.

It just says to see the dealer to service the tire pressure system. On the window that should show each tire's pressure, I get nothing. Unfortunately, the dealer did not install Mopar sensors. Maybe that's the problem? Every service center I ask says theirs are universal. Perhaps they don't know about the mid-year part number change? If the part numbers ending in AA are not interchangeable with those ending in AB, I see no reason why aftermarket universals would work well...when pre-June 5th Mopars will not.

Yes, sounds like a sensor issue. They likely put the old sensors on your new jeep.

Bring it back to DT and have them scan the TPMS sensors. If they find a problem with one, just pay them the $40 ish to replace the sensor.

Your time is worth something. Its not worth dealing with the dealer for a $40 fix. Or a zero dollar fix if you can convince them they broke it.

Close...they left the OG's in the OG tires/wheels. Instead, they installed Magnetti Morellis Part # 1AMTP3350A. Since I'm reading that Jeep changed the sensors in June and they're not compatible with the old ones, I'm wondering if my dealer f'd up by trying to get by with aftermarket. I just wish service centers could actually figure things out these days. Problem solving beyond a manual is a lost art.
