Awesome and thank you for sharing. The Technical Service Bulletin explains it all. Continenal TPM sensors it is! Quadratec has them in stock.Part of the global chip shortage. Allowed them to eliminate a separate tire pressure module and integrate the TPMS into the Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM).
I went through this last weekend when I picked my new 2021 Willys JT that replaces my 2020 Rubicon JT. When transfering over my mods from my 2020 to the 2021, had to also swap out the TPMS sensors between the two to get my tires and wheels ported over.
Old and new sensors or not compatible or even programmable to work either way of the July 2021 cut in of the new "Continental" TPMS system. There is also no available stock yet from the dealers for these new sensors for awhile nor has the aftermarket caught up yet.
FWIW, they also went to a new PCM design due to the chip shortage. Newer ones will have the connectors on the top of the PCM instead on the side like the old design.
Mine were working fine on stock 33s until I had the dealer put on my 35s and the left front went blank. After some bumpy off-roading the left front came back on and the right rear went out. Now the problem seems to have magically fixed itself after some normal driving. All tires reading pressure but TPMS warning light won’t go off. Dealer can’t get new TPMSs in for replacement.Exact same issue here. I've taken it to two service centers and neither can correct it. THat's after taking it to a Jeep dealer. Hope you find a fix!
