No it did not I added adjustable control arms from core for X4 I got home early today and realized they had the upper front control arms 3/4 of an inch to out .

Readjusting them now assuming I’m gonna need another alignment good news is see the pic included springs are no longer bowing forward

Well that’s finished.. still gotta adjust the track bar as the drivers side tire pokes out 1/2 inch more but you guys really helped me. I’m pissed they did that and not sure if I need an alignment after adjusting just the uppers but at least my springs and bump stops won’t be damaged.

Just a little help with the trackbar. I do these all the time. I just drive up on the hook end of a ratchet strap with the tire that sticking out the most, then go up over (thru the center of the tire) the tire and hook the other end to the jeep frame. Unbolt the track bar and start ratcheting until you get the same measurement on both sides (frame to common point on each tire). Then shorten/lengthen the trackbar until it lines up with the mounting hole. Retighten, done. If you are worried that the hook will come out front under tire, just hook a broom handle or the like to it and let it lay just inside the tire. This method will allow you to make ONE adjustment and be done. And it's about the only way to do by yourself.

Now that makes sense thank you!!’ That track bar is the final adjustment. Only about 1/3 inch out of spec not sure if it’s worth it..

If I adjust the upper front control arms only and front track bar only.. should I make another alignment appointment?

You guys have been awesome if I left it the way I got it back I’d say six months and they springs would be trash and the metal bump tubes would have bin shot

Track bar adjustments will not drastically affect alignment (there will b some that disagree), but, control arm changes will if the measurements are not precise and meant for your exact set-up. I personally don't take these vehicles for alignments, I just do it myself,,, but then again, my wife doesn't like me and I have nothing else to do...

Hahaha fair!

if the drivers tire is out further than the passenger doesn’t that mean the bar needs to do in? Not out?

No, making the trackbar longer will push the axle towards the passenger side. Bar is mounted to frame on the driver side and on the axle on passenger side.

SERIOUS QUESTION: ( perhaps ignorant ) Since the track bar moves as the suspension move up and down, the axel is moving off center both right and left (slightly). So, even if you "re-center" the axel with a new track bar, it will just move off center as the suspension travels. So, what's the point of having it perfectly centered, at some arbitrary point in the suspension travel, but just make sure it is, at some point in the travel, centered?

I think it’s more of a visual thing. The axel really can’t move that far cause of the control arms but yes can shift. I think the idea is proper springs, caster and pinion and the axel will reset itself. Everyone said the axel being off due to track bar isn’t a problem just visually unappealing but if the tires sticks out more on one side than to me it would mean one spring on side of control arms are under more stress.

What I don’t get it is the lift manufacturer know the vehicle we have, the know the lift we got from what ever company so why arnt the arms and track bars shipped pre measured? Why fuss with a track bar sold with a specific that could be sent out at the correct length for the lift they sold you if the bar is included.

Lift manufactures can't accurately predict the finished amount of lift. Every vehicle will be slightly different based on many things (motor option, accessories, ect.) That's why they leave it up to the installer to adjust.

plumbob from fender (top center lip), make a mark both sides on tire or other point. This can be from frame to axle or other appropriate reference point. Loosen lock nut(s), turn adjuster, recheck plumbob to original marks until equal distance left to right. Shake side to side to settle it all out. Check measurement again. If good, tighten it all back up.
