Well, OK. For me you sacrificed for a truck that is so big you'll have fun parking at COSTCO, that I couldn't get into my back yard for yard work, pay a hefty fuel bill, give up the option for a manual tranny, give up a manual shift into 4 x 4...you gave up all the features I bought my JT for. Good luck with that, have fun trying to toss stuff over those too tall bed rails.
I'm with ya, let's tar and feather this trader :CWL:

I traded my TRX for my Gladiator, the power was fun, the room was nice and the features were a plenty. However it was thirsty, it was a pain to park and I was always afraid someone was going to steal it for the hellcat power plant. Still the RHO/TRX is damn good looking and a super nice truck! Enjoy!

I do agree that those and Raptors would suck to park. Those lights on the hood or grill aren’t to look cool. They’re DOT clearance lights because they’re over 80ā€ wide.

Went back to Iowa City Hospital for a check-up and of course, their parking is in ramps......
IT was interesting watching the pickups larger than my JT try to maneuver and park in there. I told my wife - that's one reason 'never again'
They caused traffic blockage trying to get around the tight turns where we where in the underground ramp - and it's two way traffic down there.

I looked up the mileage report on that thing and.....damn.....it's THIRSTY.
My JT averaged around 14-15mpg. I only have 1,000 miles in the RHO so far and am averaging around 11-13mpg so far. Luckily I only live about 6 miles from work.

Well the fuel mileage isn’t much different from my JT. I’m 6’4ā€ so putting stuff in the bed is rather easy. It’s a full time 4 wheel truck so not really missing much there. It is in fact a bitch to park. Has a rear locker. My JT didn’t have that. I would have kept my JT but couldn’t find anyone in my area unfortunately that could do a re-gear. 4.10 gears with 37ā€ tires were finally beginning to take a tole. That along with all of my overlanding equipment. I couldn’t go anywhere without the tranny hanging in 4th or 5th gear the entire time. I was simply killing it. I’ll have another one eventually but it’ll be strictly used for off-roading.

The last time I had a full size truck I lived in Downtown Atlanta. It was a nightmare with the tight parking garages, street parking, and the places that make you valet.

Nice RHO.

Im considering the Rebel GT 1500 or the Rebel 2500 Diesel, but im not trading the Gladiator. I'll just add another steed to our stable. Only way I'd trade the Gladiator would be for a JLURD, after I get the full-size truck.

Traded in my JT for some HP. I will definitely miss being able to go wheeling in narrow places. Definitely sure I’ll get a used one just for that reason. Definitely happier towing and way more comfortable on a trip now though.

What's the tow rating on this, 8900?

I love big trucks, we had a lifted Hummer h2, absolutely loved it. Sold it for good money, was ready for something smaller

Sounds like you went overkill on your overlanding setup.
