I know this is random but has anyone heard of a third party company that manufactures some sort of bracket for traeger smokers? Just ordered my first smoker and was wondering if and how I could take the barrel with me on long trips. Removing the legs and having some sort of swing out bracket off the rear bumper or something? Ideas?

Just dropping by to say - I love my Traeger. I don't think I'd be comfortable carrying it around anywhere, though. I feel like it's more of an appliance than a traditional grill/smoker - meaning it might not weather bumps and shakes as well. Which one do you anticipate hauling around? They sell an intentionally portable one now.

PS: this guy has things figured out if this is your first rodeo with a smoker. He has several Traeger-specific recipes and videos.

I got one of these instead of dragging the big smoker (Camp Chef) around: Davy Crockett
They are still heavy!
