Looks like it works per this Amazon review, also answers my question on the oem tonneau cover

Thanks for digging that up! I'm in Canada so those reviews don't hit our site. That review pretty much shows what I wanted to do, with the molle panel as well.

Ordered the Loball locking rail, expecting it May 14th-ish. Going to try mounting it on the side rail and the cab rail.

Keep in mind that the top is off on this JT and there's a lot more room to roll up that cover with the back window gone. I really don't see it as a problem anyway.

If Amazon ever gets around to the 5 orders I have waiting to ship since May 1, I'll post some pics and observations.

Nice, how big is the bike? I have a large frame 29 inch mountain bike, wonder if it will fit with the tailgate closed?
Don't laugh...it's a large Jamis Dakar 26'er...From like 2003...It's about a half inch too long, but the tailgate still closes. I have a new YT Decoy Electric MTB on order, and I'm worried it will fit...we'll soon find out.

Worst case scenario is I'll need to get a bed extender. Not the end of the world...

Thank you. Wonder if a 29 inch bike would fit if angled, I want to be able to put the tailgate up so I can still throw stuff in there without fear of it sliding out. Deciding on installing the new in box rails I have and this or selling the rails and getting a hitch mount bike carrier

I understand... and it can sit at an angle... another thought, is it through axle fork mount or traditional quick release? I have a through axle mount that sits 2” closer (flush) with the trail rail than this bike which has a traditional fork mount...You’d gain about 2” with a through axle type of fork mount if your bike has one.

I have a Cannondale, looks like a traditional quick release but wondering even if it doesn't fit, what harm would be to let the bike tire rest partially on top of the tailgate like the attached review, maybe just run a bungee through the mounting hooks at the bottom of the bed and through the rear tire.

Finally installed my Mopar bed rails I've had laying in a box for about 6 months and the Rockymount Loball mounts I picked up on sale. 29 fits angled 27.5 fits no issues

Hi, looking for a couple more OEM tie downs for the Jeep trail rail system. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find these? Thanks in advance.
