Was yours wet inside? Mine fell in the pond once but it remained dry. The fish didn't have time to push any buttons.

I didn’t open it up but it went through a 30 min wash cycle!

Nice thoughts about how to fix it, but I've been down all those roads and come to the conclusion that my FOB is now demon possessed. Worse, it only happens in the middle of the night. Usually somewhere between 2-3AM. I have pulled the battery and keep it (along with battery) in a zip lock bag as a spare out on off-road trips. After having it apart a dozen + times and trying everything, I've come to the conclusion that it will never work properly again. I wish I could turn off remote start on the jeep and it would be fine.....

I just tried starting the Jeep with the wet fob, haha the alarm went nuts and no start. Opened the fob and it was wet in there.

These things suck, if I am out for a hike or a run in the rain it gets wet, always works but I always worry. Really don't wanna have to buy a new one as it will likely be millions of Canadian Pesos!

Key fob has been drying since yesterday, if I push any of the buttons it just sets off the alarm.

I am able to unlock the door manually with the physical key then push the brake and use the fob to push the start button and start the Jeep. Yeah for junk tech!
