Parked last night no warning lights.

Crank it this morning and "parksense unavailable, sway bar disconnect unavailable, Serv 4WD, ACC or regular Cruise Control not available"

CEL U1440 , seems to be a transfer case control module. I cleared the code, powered everything down and immediately the code was back. I can shift the transfer case, but the indicator stays in 2H, offroad pages does not indicate transfer case status. I powered everything down again and rebooted and now my offroad pages are missing (LOL I don't know what the hell thats about)

Truck has 54k on it so I am going to assume it is under warranty, anybody else enjoy this malady?

When the head unit gets rebooted, it has to check in and verify the VIN and the apps it's allowed to run. It can take up to 24 hours to return to normal operation.

What scan program you running?
Pulled it off of the truck with Tazer.

Should have it back today, shop said "rodent" but it doesn't look like rodent to me from the .00003 megapixel image they sent.

Regardless there is wiring damage that seems to be the issue.

That does indeed look like something chewed through it.

Kevin
So we live in the woods and have had wires chewed before, specifically on a 2016 Ram 2500. The insulation on these things is soy based (somebody saving the world here needs to be hung by the neck but I digress).

In both of the prior cases they go to the exposed wire (past the sheathing) and chew the insulation that is exposed between the sheathing and the connector. This is quite evidently in the middle of the wire, and in an area that is sheathed, which is contradictory to prior experience.

I'm not saying it isn't chewed and in the words of Hildebeast Clintoon (may the rats be upon her wiring for all of eternity) "What difference at this point does it make?" The damage is done and i have submitted to ritual sodomization by the dealership.

Life goes on.

Before we just knee jerk and blame the poor rodent, do you have a neighbour or an X that has a grudge with you?
After I hung a dead one over the fence for a couple of days my neighbors no longer engage in any degree of foolishness in close proximity.
