So my wife recently had an issue in her Grand Cherokee with Uconnect 7” head unit where it was having “ghost taps” that kept turning the heated seats on and off, changing radio stations and inputs, adjusted climate and pretty much anything else onscreen and made the unit completely unusable. Resets didn’t resolve the issue nor shutting off the car.
After pressing down on all of the fuses in the fuse box, many seemed to be quite loose. No more ghost taps. I’ll be checking my truck in the morning for loose fuses. Seeing as the JT uses the same system, I figured it’s a possibility to be an issue on the truck as well.
