I’m approaching 3 yr anniversary on my 2021 Overland. What Uconnect features will I lose at the end of September? If this has been addressed, please point me to the appropriate tread. Thx

My 21 just expired. I lost the live traffic updates on the Jeep sat nav, the weather alerts, and Sirus XM music. I also lost the SOS features connected to Sirus and all their Guardian stuff.

Honestly, I don't miss any of it. It's all things my phone does anyway through Auto/Car Play.
If you don't want to lose it all and would like to keep paying, let it expire for about three months, Sirius will hound you like a clingy ex-lover and keep lowering their price.

Sounds like I’ll be ok. I use Apple car play for nav, traffic, etc. Will Jeep continue to hound me with pop-ups to renew?

Yeah, Sirius will for a while. You will get popups telling you to renew, then you will get some saying they turned it back on for a week/month for free to try to get you to come back.

I eventually had to call Sirius and have them delete the account completely, but the hardware still gets popups pushed now and then. It pisses me off to no end.

I only get occassional emails for my 2020 Gladiator wanting me to pay like $250 for map updates. Please - I've never used the Jeep map or any of the other featuresincluding Sirius once they expired. Apple map updates are free. I've been using a wireless carplay adapter for the past 4 years that creates its own wifi network and connect to that with my phone.

This wireless CarPlay adapter is only compatible with iPhone 6s and later models running iOS 10 or higher: Amazon.com

😂 ...I never took the time to setup all that crap ...... cuz I don't need it.

My husband's had Sirius for years....... and we still use it thru Carplay/phone.

And yes....Sirius did hound me for a while. I'm just surprised they kept hounding me even though I never officially set anything up!!

There are many different wireless adapters out there........ When I owned my 2016 Canyon - I bought the Ottocast. That thing sucked - ended up returning it ( I hope they fixed things since).
I ended up buying a SuperiorTek. That lasted me a good 5 years and was still working great when I traded the truck.

If you buy it off Amazon... you should be able to return it if things don't work.

If you want to keep Sirius XM music, once it is about to expire log in and hit the chat function and ask for their current best price to continue. I tend to get it around $6 per month for a year. I do wish they would just offer that price without you having to ask for it.

This is insane to me. Had no idea these Jeeps could get pop-up ads. My 2021 Willy's has the small 5-inch screen (no Sirius) and I always wished I had the full size until now lol.

I never believed that size didnt matter.... Maybe there is hope.. 😂

How much are you paying for serius xm? When mine expired an ignored their emails for a few months and then called them and got them to renew for 4.99 a month and paid a full year in advance.
I use CarPlay and the apps on my phone anyway so I don’t miss the other stuff

I negotiated last year with Sirius and got a 3year deal for 3.00/month and I have transferred that same contract twice since then. They're just not giving it until you make it happen.

I was getting the pop ups as well. My Guardian expired last week. I signed on to my Jeep account online and discontinued updates and was still getting the reminders that SOS Phone was not working and Guardian was expired on my U Connect Screen every time I cranked the truck. I finally realized that since I have a simple Jeep Sport Max Tow without xm radio whatever Sirius Guardian was doing was through my Cell Phone. I deleted the Jeep Ap on my cell phone and that stopped the pop ups. I already had an appointment at my Jeep Dealer but was able to cancel that trip.

Yeah, Sirius seems to be hungry. The kept going down until I caved. I want my classic vinyl.
