Ford's turbo engine is more torque and easier to pick up speed. Jeep's v6 you need to get on it like you stolen it unless you have upgraded regear axles.

I would say Ford still lack Jeep's fitness in the off road capabilities. Give Ford a few years to polish out their products, it will be much more competitive by then.

Now if Jeep is to stick a turbo or V8 engine in gladiator, it would leave Ford behind by miles!

I have no brand loyalty but dislike anything that are imports. Used to own all kind of imports but realize my money better serve my own American domestic brands even if they sucks!

Would you take a gladiator rubicon over a bronco badlands?
I haven’t driven the Bronco, but I love the 2.7l TT. It’s a damn good engine and super powerful. Someone is going to say that they have had some issues with them, but since its introduction it’s been a very reliable engine (the 2.7l). They’ll fix the recent issues.

I love my Gladiator and it’s not under powered, but I miss the considerable difference in power when I step on it vs my Canyon All Terrain. 6.1 0-60 in the Canyon bone stock was way better than 7.8 or whatever the Gladiator is.

Talking right now, not some future date?

If so, then the JT or the JL hands down.

Ford still has a ways to go to figure out true off road ready vehicles.

My last 3 vehicles before the JT were Ford. I like their product. But I don't like the Bronco or the Raptor and being advertised as Off Road vehicles.

Yup. I’d take my Sport Gladiator over a Badlands too. The more I look at those Broncos recently, the more I don’t like them lol. Particularly the 4 door ones.

I don’t think I have brand loyalty but I just think Wranglers and Gladiators look better. For example, I’d take a F250 Tremor over a Power Wagon…or a Mustang GT350/500 over a Hellcat.

Im Jeep brand loyal. If my gladiator broke down i would just sit behind the wheel in the driveway making driving noises.

At this point no. There are just way too many quality issues with the Bronco right now. And more seem to be popping up weekly. My Black Diamond was built two weeks ago and is awaiting shipment. I'm passing on it. I have another order with Chapman for a Big Bend Sasquatch. I'm pretty far down on the list so I won't see it for at least a year. I'll see how things are then.

I cancelled my BL order for the Gladiator and am glad I did.
Good choice, until Ford figures out the reliability issues I’d stay far away from the Bronco

Gladiator, which I just bought. Bronco was my 2nd choice but I had to have a HT + manual transmission + locking rear diff and couldn’t find a bronco around that fit the bill. Also, I’ve had small
pickups off and on for many years, and they sure are nice to have for all kinds of different things.

My bronco build would be similar to yours. I need my manual trans+ lockers. I'd have to custom order the Bronco I want to my specs, and wait and wait and wait.
