People Work?
I got a call from my own number once.
I said, "We've been trying to reach you about your vehicle's extended warranty".

There's a soft reset from the settings menu.

Last I read, a deeper reset comes from ACC Run/ Hold Volume and Tune buttons in for 15-20 seconds and release.
The unit should go dark and then reboot.

Yeah I did the soft reset thing a while ago. It did soft reset and turned off. Unit went dark, rebooted and phantom called me again as soon as the Bluetooth reconnected.

There's some stuff about this over on the wrangler forum that says the dealer ended up updating or flashing the uconnect. It's just strange it starts doing this all of a sudden.

Could this be something to do with being in Tennessee? The reason I ask is I also live in Tennessee have a 22 with the 8.4 and every time I start the Jeep it calls my phone exactly same as yours. I've been to the dealer twice about an hour each time and of course both times they said it's fixed.

I just don't know. I've had my truck for a year, 3 different phones and then this starts 3 days ago. My wife has a JT also but not this issue.

If I tell her I'm about to spend $1500 to fix it then it suddenly starts working correctly, I'll know for sure.

Did your phone do a software update recently? I'm not having any issues, but mine did a major update a few days ago. If not, go into the settings and have it check for an update.

Does it do it if you connect the phone with a USB cable?

I would try removing the phone from the Uconnect settings, and removing the Uconnect from the phone settings. Then do a reboot of the Uconnect system by disconnecting both batteries for about ten minutes. It will take the Uconnect up to 24 hours to fully recover. Try pairing the Bluetooth again after that and see if it helps any.

You can get the latest Uconnect software update by ordering a Map Update.

More great ideas and things to try. I do think it's updated within the last few days. I did all the unpair/forget/delete several times on both devices, same result. Would removing the fuse for 10 minutes work the same as disconnecting the batteries as far as Uconnect is concerned?

Removing the fuse has been reported to have the same effect as disconnecting the batteries. I cannot confirm either way. Personally, I would disconnect the batteries to make sure it rebooted.

I will try that tomorrow if I get a chance. I'll update this post with the results. Thanks!!

Mine started doing it the morning I got home from picking it up and Eden North Carolina and June. Does your remote functions from your phone work to unlock lock and start your Jeep. Reason I ask mine has never worked
